New Student Orientation Y1 Undergraduates October 2026
Joining us in October 2026?
If you are an undergraduate student starting with us on a four-year course, we will be welcoming you to campus on 1-2 October for new student orientation. Classes will start on 5 October.

| Thursday, 1 October 2026 | Campus orientation which will include: Document Checks Campus Tours SGA Welcome Introduction to Liberal Arts A Majors Fair + Lunch Evening activity: West End Theatre |
| Friday, 2 October 2026 | Campus orientation which will include: Document Checks Campus Tours Life in London Seminar Mandatory Visa Session Accessing University Systems Session Library Orientation Registration Evening Activity: Stand Up Comedy at the Comedy Store |
| Saturday, 3 October 2026 | Thames Boat Cruise |
| Sunday, 4 October 2026 | Tower of London Tour |

Join us for a pre-arrival webinar
Wednesday, 23 September 2026 at 4pm BST
The webinar will cover specifics of new student orientation including a pre-arrival check-list we’d like you to complete before you arrive in the UK. If you are unable to attend, don’t worry. We will be recording the webinar and posting it on our YouTube Channel after the event.
Get started here:
- Log on to your University email and change your password (instructions have been sent to your private email)
- Log on to Blackboard (using your new credentials) and work through our orientation course
- Log on to the Rio Student portal and complete our Health Questionnaire and update your personal details. You can also apply for housing on the portal if you haven’t done this already
- Upload a photo for your student ID
- If you are an international student on a student visa, upload the share code of your e-visa HERE.
- If you are staying with us at Stay Club North Acton, let us know your planned arrival date and time (check ins from Tuesday, 29th September)
