Student Hub Assistants

Rutuja is a final year student studying a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She is also President of the Student Government Association and works with new and returning students regularly to answer questions, to help students navigate University policies and procedures and to support students’ transition to University life.

I wear a few hats here at Richmond — Peer Tutor, Cultural Ambassador and Student Hub Assistant — but the thread running through all of them is the same: I genuinely care about making your experience here as smooth, supported, and enjoyable as possible. Whether you need academic guidance and a safe space to ask questions without judgement, someone to help you feel seen and celebrated within our beautifully diverse community, a friendly face at the Student Hub to point you in the right direction, or a reliable presence in your residence when university life feels a little overwhelming, I am here for all of it. Hi I’m Adia. I am a 3rd year student studying a BA in Psychology. I really enjoy creating welcoming environments where everyone feels valued. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and helping others feel settled, whether that’s answering questions, pointing you in the right direction, or maybe just being someone you can talk to.
