Financial Assistance

We understand how difficult it can be to finance a degree course and manage living costs in the UK. Whether you are looking for some advice and guidance about managing your budget or you need a short-term loan to manage unexpected costs, we’re here to help. You can stop in to see us in the Student Hub or you can book an appointment with a member of the student finance team–see below.

Jason Elliot

Associate Dean for Financial Assistance and Scholarships

Jason oversees the University’s allocation of US Federal Financial Aid and Student Finance England loans. In addition, Jason manages the University’s scholarship programme and he works with the Student Finance Committee to respond to continuing students’ request for financial support. Applications for financial assistance for continuing students are accepted up to 1 June for the Fall term and 1 October for the Spring Term. Jason can also support you with access to a short term loan via the Student Emergency Fund.

    Student Finance Team

    The student finance team can help with general banking questions, support with online payments and they can offer payment plans to spread out the cost of your tuition. The team is in the student hub Monday to Friday, so please stop in or make an appointment via their email at studentfinance@richmond.ac.uk
