Spotlight: Cybersecurity and AI
Cybersecurity has long been on the margins of internet technology and culture, notwithstanding the profound impact insecurity has had on services, the economy, and individuals around the world. The introduction of consumer AI (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) has pulled cybersecurity into sharper focus. The peril and promise of AI rests on trust in these systems, which already are, and will rapidly continue to be, implemented into virtually all aspects of human life and civilisation, for better or worse, depending on how we address these challenges.
Please come join us for a conversation on the vital topics and relationship between cybersecurity and AI. Our democracies, quality of life, and, for some observers, even our existence, depend on it.
