Talk on Social and Environmental impacts of AI: Professor Inma Ramos
October 21 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
Join the Chiswick Business Park Sustainability Club on the 21st of October, from 12:30–1:30pm, for a Lunch & Learn session exploring the social and environmental impacts of artificial intelligence.
We’ll be joined by Inma Ramos, a Guest Speaker from Richmond American University London, who will explore how AI is shaping the world around us. From the digital education divide and the environmental cost of AI technologies to the wider social implications and political debates surrounding their use, this session will unpack the challenges and opportunities AI presents, both now and in the future.
To accompany the discussion, we will be providing lunch for attendees, so you can enjoy a bite to eat while learning more about this thought-provoking topic.
