Student Cultural Ambassadors

Richmond’s Cultural Ambassadors work with new students to help them integrate into the Richmond community by offering advice and guidance about how to access University services and programmes and how to abide by university policies and procedures while studying at the University. Student Cultural Ambassadors will play an important role in new student orientation and may be asked to resolve issues that arise due to cultural differences.

Upasana Bhatt

Cultural Ambassador for South Asia

Hi there! My name is Upasana, and I’ve been a student at Richmond for over 3 years. I have been a part of student leadership for most of my time here, as community building is something I am very passionate about. I bring open communication, cultural awareness, and a student perspective to the table. I am adept at dealing with concerns and questions that you may have — ranging from academic databases to life as a Londoner. I check my emails regularly (shocking, I know), so don’t hesitate to drop me a line and feel free to say hello should you ever see me on campus (highly likely since I am on campus almost every day!). I look forward to helping you to the best of my ability 🙂
