Hangeul Day

Greetings from LSI!
Every year on 9th October, events are held worldwide to celebrate 
(Korean Alphabet Day). This year, the London Sejong Institute will be hosting a special celebration, and we would love for you to join us.
– Date: Thursday, 9th October
– Time: 13:20 – 15:00
– Venue: Foyer, Richmond American University London
– Programme
13:00 – Hanbok experience (optional, for those who would like to try)
13:30–13:40 – Opening: rice cake cutting, “Happy Birthday” in Hangeul, short introduction to Hangeul Day, quiz, and overview of the day’s programme
13:45–14:15 – Calligraphy class & bojagi (wrapping cloth) class (run concurrently)
14:15 onwards – Lunch (Korean rice cakes & tea), followed by traditional Korean games (ddakji)
– Capacity: Limited to 30 participants (first come, first served)
Lunch will be provided (gimbap and chicken catering🤩).
