Book Launch: Dr Eric Golson

The Well-being Research Centre (WRC) will host a book launch and talk by our Adjunct Professor of Economics, Dr Eric Golson on his newly released co-written book, Economics (13th edition) published by McGraw Hill Education.
The event will take place in Classroom 6 on Wednesday, 23th April at 12:30pm. Attendees are invited to stay for refreshments and informal discussion after the talk.

Written alongside David Begg, Gianluigi Vernasca, and Bridget Kauma, this new edition provides an in-depth exploration of contemporary economic issues, blending foundational principles with modern topics such as AI’s role in the labour market, the ongoing effects of COVID-19 on consumer behaviour, and the global implications of climate change.

Biography
Dr. Eric Golson is an Adjunct Professor of Economics at Richmond, the American International University in London. A multi-award-winning teacher, he has previously worked in University leadership to improve student experience, particularly for neurodiverse students. As an economist with expertise in economic and trade warfare, he has travelled the world exploring complex questions issues for governments and businesses.
